Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for onsite and remote exams and complete pre-exam testing.
• Explain each step of the testing process to patients and document results in EMR.
• Assist onsite doctor with eye examinations and preliminary testing; document results.
• Support remote exams including pre-testing, remote conferencing, and additional testing as needed.
• Transition patient to retail associate after exam and communicate doctor recommendations.
• Coordinate with retail staff to schedule appointments and manage exam books.
