Randstad USA seeks an experienced Extrusion Senior Technician to lead high-precision manufacturing operations, optimize extrusion lines, and uphold safety and quality standards on our production floors. You will mentor technicians, troubleshoot complex defects, and drive continuous process improvements to maximize uptime and throughput.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of extrusion experience in high-precision manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting line defects and resin/process issues.
• Strong mechanical/electrical maintenance capabilities and tooling setup knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot defects to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Perform preventive maintenance, die changes, and tooling setups to maximize throughput.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Senior Technician to lead high-precision manufacturing operations, optimize equipment performance, and drive quality standards across our production lines. In this role, you will bring deep technical expertise in polymer extrusion, setup troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement to ensure seamless output and minimal downtime. If you excel at solving complex mechanical challenges, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining top-tier safety standards in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Compensation and Benefits

salary: $72,000 - $83,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. In addition, Randstad offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate complex extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment according to strict technical specifications.


• Troubleshoot line defects, resin inconsistencies, and mechanical failures to minimize downtime and reduce scrap.


• Perform routine preventive maintenance, die changes, and tooling setups to maximize throughput and yield.


• Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to shift technicians and machine operators.


• Document production parameters, maintain quality compliance standards, and enforce strict safety protocols.
