Polyzen, Inc. in Apex, NC is seeking an Extrusion Production Technician I for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 pm–7:00 am). You will support extrusion line operations, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure GMP/GDP compliance while contributing to safety and quality targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years in manufacturing, plus ability to read drawings and use hand/power tools. On-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or machine operations.
• Ability to solve basic mathematical equations using measurements.
• Effective communication and teamwork across departments.
• Read, interpret and use drawings, diagrams and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools or power equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior extrusion operators with machine setup and production runs to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and maintain extrusion equipment; perform inspections and safety checks.
• Follow GMP and GDP; complete required quality documentation.
• Use production travelers and documentation to verify raw material accuracy before runs.
• Comply with SOPs and ensure accuracy of quality records.
• Assist in inspecting final products and supporting operator reviews.
