Polyzen, Inc. in Apex, NC is seeking an Extrusion Production Technician I for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 pm–7:00 am). You will support extrusion line operations, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure GMP/GDP compliance while contributing to safety and quality targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years in manufacturing, plus ability to read drawings and use hand/power tools. On-site position with benefits.

About the role:

The Extrusion Production Technician I is responsible for ensuring that the extrusion line runs efficiently resulting in high-quality products. This role is a key contributor to the team's continuous improvement efforts in achieving monthly production metrics and in safety, quality, sustainability, and production costs.

What you will do:

• Assist senior extrusion operators in machine setup, production, and development runs to hit desired product specifications.
• Perform troubleshooting and general maintenance of extrusion equipment including inspections and safety checks to ensure good working conditions.
• Complete daily tasks by following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Use production travelers and other documentation to identify and confirm raw material accuracy before starting manufacturing runs.
• Comply and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure all quality documentation is completed correctly.
• Assist in the inspection of final products to ensure that senior extrusion operators are completing operational reviews in a timely manner.

Who you are:

• High school Diploma or equivalent required
• One (1) to two (2) years of experience in manufacturing, machine operations or a cleanroom environment
• Knowledge and ability to solve mathematical equations that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of all units of measure
• Effective communication and collaboration amongst co-workers and cross-functional teams
• Read, interpret, and utilize complex drawings, diagrams, and blueprints
• Proficiency in operating hand tools or power equipment
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
