Job summary

Cirtec Medical Corporation is seeking an Extrusion Technician II for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) in Wisconsin. This hands-on role supports extrusion operations, setup of secondary equipment, and production orders within the Extrusion Department.

Candidates should have extrusion process knowledge and strong communication skills. The position emphasizes safety, 5S organization, data-driven decisions, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of extrusion processes.
• Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Results oriented and able to work autonomously.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to read/write/speak English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Computer use for data entry and tracking orders.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment adhering to safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following 5S standards.
• Collaborate with fellow employees to promote a positive work culture.
• Set up equipment for secondary equipment including mills, cut-to-length equipment, spoolers, and post cure ovens.
• Use measuring tools to verify product meets specifications.
• Maintain high quality and productivity across processes.
• Use blueprints, SOPs, and process docs to set up machinery and troubleshoot problems.
• Record outputs electronically using the IQMS system.
• Perform in-process quality checks at defined intervals.
