Cirtec Medical is seeking an extrusion technician II for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM). The role involves hands-on extrusion operations, setting up secondary equipment, and running production orders in the Extrusion Department.

A working knowledge of extrusion processes is preferred, with strong communication and a teamwork mindset essential. The ideal candidate will maintain safety, 5S standards, and adhere to GDP and IQMS documentation while ensuring high-quality output.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of extrusion process, direct extrusion preferred.
• Ability to perform arithmetic in all units using whole numbers and decimals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and data-driven decision making.
• Results oriented and able to work autonomously.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Able to handle machine oils, lubricants, silicone, and latex.
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Promote a safe work environment and follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, 5S-compliant work area.
• Collaborate with peers to foster a positive work culture.
• Set up and operate secondary equipment: mills, cut-to-length, spoolers, post cure ovens.
• Use caliper and other measuring equipment to ensure specifications.
• Monitor and maintain high-quality standards across processes.
• Interpret work orders, blueprints, specs, SOPs and process docs for setup and troubleshooting.
• Maintain GDP-compliant records and use IQMS for electronic documentation.
• Perform in-process quality checks at required intervals.
