Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Extrusion Technician for an advanced manufacturing client in Easton, PA. You will support extrusion line operations, emphasizing safety and continuous improvement within a team environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic English literacy, mechanical aptitude, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs while standing for long periods. Training will cover line setups and maintenance activities to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in line setups and support minor machine and extrusion tooling troubleshooting to maintain a safe, efficient production environment.
• Perform minor maintenance, repair and tear down of extrusion machines to support smooth production.
• Support preventative maintenance on extrusion machines and tooling.
• Assist higher level Process Techs with line/tooling changes and cycling in the extrusion process to reach standard operating conditions.
• Perform QC measurements and complete production tickets for audit station one.

Job description

Our client, an advanced manufacturing organization is seeking an Extrusion Technician to join their team. As an Extrusion Technician, you will be part of the Extrusion department supporting the extrusion line operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a drive for continuous improvement, and the ability to work as a team player which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Easton, PA

Pay Range: $20-23/hr

Shift: Shift 1: 6am - 2:30pm
Shift 2: 2pm – 10:30pm
Shift 3: 10pm – 6:30am
Team A: Work Sunday -Thursday with Fri & Sat off
Team B: Work Tuesday – Saturday with Sun & Mon off

What's the Job?

• Assist in line setups and support minor machine and extrusion tooling troubleshooting to help maintain a safe, efficient product environment.
• Perform minor maintenance repair and tear down of extrusion machines as applicable to support smooth production.
• Support preventative maintenance on extrusion machines, tooling, and related extrusion molding equipment.
• Assist higher level Process Techs with line/tooling changes and with “cycling-in” the extrusion process to help machines reach standard operating conditions.
• Perform QC measurements including visual inspection, trim and package parts per specifications, and complete production tickets with accurate information for audit station one.

What's Needed?

• High school graduate, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of the manufacturing process.
• Basic computer and math skills to support paperwork, QC documentation, and production records.
• Ability to work with minimum direction after being trained, including meeting physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing/walking for at least eight hours per day.
