Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Extrusion Operator / Technician to join our plastics manufacturing production team. You will operate and monitor extrusion machines, perform setup and changeovers, inspect products, document quality checks, and troubleshoot downtime to keep production on schedule.

This hands-on role requires reliability, the ability to read a tape measure, lift 50 lbs, and work in a warm industrial setting. Excellent benefits, room for growth, 401K, and shift options are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8–12 hours.
• Willingness to work in a warm, industrial setting with noise, dust, and moving machinery.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastic extrusion machines according to established procedures.
• Perform setup and changeovers of extrusion lines, dies, and tooling.
• Inspect and measure extruded products for defects and dimensional accuracy.
• Document production data and quality checks accurately.
• Troubleshoot line issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
• Assist with material handling, packaging, and labeling as needed.
• Communicate clearly with team leads and supervisors.

• Perform setup and changeovers of extrusion lines, dies, and tooling
