Job summary

Pexco is seeking a Set-Up Technician in Wisconsin to manage extrusion tooling setup, teardown, and equipment maintenance. The role partners with production and quality teams to ensure parts meet specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include using calipers and gauges, updating setup sheets, and supporting cross-functional teams to improve efficiency. Training on 1st shift with transition to hired schedule is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year prior manufacturing or factory experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of extrusion processes.
• Ability to interpret and follow setup sheets and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down extrusion tooling and downstream equipment.
• Operate machinery and maintain auxiliary equipment.
• Produce parts per setup sheets and quality specs.
• Inspect parts with calipers, gauges, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot extrusion issues to maintain line efficiency.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety protocols.
