Gemini, Inc. in Cannon Falls, MN is seeking a Duets Extruder/Laminator Setup Operator for a full-time day shift. The role requires extrusion experience and involves setting up and operating sheet extrusion equipment, calibrating blenders, changing dies, and monitoring material flow.

Workers operate secondary equipment and assist with forklift tasks as needed, while keeping a neat, safe workspace. Training and long-term growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in production environment.
• Plastics manufacturing experience preferred.
• English language skills at the 6th grade level or above.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates sheet extruder equipment.
• Adjusts and calibrates the blender for proper material blend.
• Changes dies, screws, rolls and dialups on the extruder.
• Sets up and operates extruding equipment to manufacture sheets.
• Feeds plastic granules from dryer hopper to extruder hopper.
• Monitors plastic flow and ensures steady supply to the extruder.
• Takes instrument readings on extruder and makes adjustments.
• Heat seals stacks of sheets in shrink wrap and stacks handling.
• Operates secondary equipment as needed (Off-Line Laminator, Screen-Print Operator).
• Records material usage and reports to Material Handler for data entry.
• Unloads scrap with forklift and secures equipment at shift end.
