Job summary

The Griff Network is seeking a reliable Extruder Operator to support the GAL Applied Laminates division in Fallsington, PA. You will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust extrusion equipment to produce laminated and multi-layer materials, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow work orders, safety instructions, and production schedules. This on-site role offers hands-on training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years extrusion or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read work orders and safety procedures.
• Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust extrusion production equipment to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Prepare extrusion lines for production runs by installing, changing, cleaning, and adjusting dies, screws, rollers, screens, tooling and related components.
• Load and monitor resins, films, papers, adhesives, and other raw materials for extrusion and laminating.
• Monitor equipment and material to maintain product thickness, adhesion, appearance, and quality.
• Inspect in-process and finished materials for defects and nonconforming conditions.
• Read and follow work orders, production schedules, product specifications, and safety instructions.
• Complete production reports, machine records, and quality checks accurately and on time.
