Qualifications

• Follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements at all times.
• Operate log oven/extrusion press and pullers per instructions.
• Ensure safe transfer of metal from press to pullers to cooling table.
• Document all extrusions in the EPICS system accurately.
• Strive to maximize pounds per hour while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare billet oven and press according to the press schedule.
• Load and unload metal between press, pullers, and cooling table.
• Maintain accurate EPICS entries for each extrusion.
• Monitor throughput to meet production targets.
