Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking an Extrusion Technical Process Operator to safely provide quality blown plastic film rolls to bag making departments. You will drive Safety, Quality, Cost, OEE, and equipment maintenance while supporting continuous improvement through Operational Excellence tools.

The role offers a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (days and nights) with a $1.50 shift differential and a base pay of $24.30 per hour, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year manufacturing experience
• Ability to understand instructions, procedures, and work with team to complete tasks
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights, weekends and holidays, for up to 7 consecutive days
• Ability to work occasional mandatory overtime shifts
• Ability to communicate clearly (oral and written) with peers and supervisors
• Ability to perform under stressful conditions and prioritize tasks while coordinating with team

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on plastic film using specified quality control procedures.
• Process daily loose scrap materials using specified procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process failures and perform minor mechanical repairs.
• Perform routine mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform Autonomous Maintenance on equipment and follow sustainability processes.
• Operate pallet jacks, fork trucks, and banding equipment.
• Perform equipment set-up changes and process adjustments for high-quality finished products.
• Maintain and update equipment and production performance metrics and reports.
