Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Operator for its Bowling Green, KY facility to ensure safe and professional execution of all duties on assigned extrusion lines.

You will be responsible for safety, quality, output, and housekeeping, with emphasis on following the chain of command and reporting to the Production Supervisor (Extrusion). The role requires ability to read, write, and understand English and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Functional math skills and ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion lines with focus on safety, quality, output, and housekeeping.
• Perform line setup, scrap control, quality checks, and training as needed.
• Inform supervisor immediately of maintenance issues and any safety or production concerns.
