Clearfield, Inc. is seeking an Extrusion Operator to safely run extrusion lines, follow SOPs, and ensure quality per ISO 9001 and EHS standards. You will manage materials, monitor line performance, and support maintenance and housekeeping activities on the production floor.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This position offers an hourly wage range with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1+ year in extrusion or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills for measurements and conversions.
• Ability to interpret work orders and production specifications.
• Detail-oriented with strict adherence to procedures.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion lines, including start-up, shutdown, and changeovers per SOPs.
• Review production plans, pull materials, and verify colors and fiber types.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specs (speed, temp, pressure).
• Monitor equipment, perform quality checks, and document data.
• Load/unload materials and manage finished goods.
• Assist with tooling, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
• Follow ISO 9001 and EHS policies and procedures.
