Job summary

TE Connectivity in Landisville, PA is seeking an extrusion operator responsible for setting up and running the extrusion line and performing quality checks to ensure materials meet specifications. You will coordinate daily with Planning/Scheduling to forecast downstream needs and work with Maintenance and Engineering to address equipment issues.

The role requires hands-on shop skills, familiarity with inspection equipment and hand tools, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience with machine set-up is highly preferred.
• Basic machine shop knowledge and ability is preferred but not required.
• Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure products for conformance.
• Working knowledge of hand tools
• Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run the extrusion machine and perform quality checks to ensure finished material meets quality specifications.
• Interface daily with Planning/Scheduling to forecast downstream product needs.
• Regularly communicate with Maintenance and Engineering to address machine performance issues when needed.
