Job summary

TE Connectivity in Minnesota is seeking a skilled production operator to set up and run machines, assemble parts, and monitor equipment in a shop environment. You\'ll read blueprints and BOMs, adjust settings, and ensure product conformance to specs, while coordinating with the Cell Lead to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires high school diploma, 5+ years of machining experience, basic computer skills and Excel, independent work, problem solving, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of experience operating machinery.
• Read and understand blueprints/drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and identify quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead.
• Use computer-controlled equipment to operate automatic or semi-automatic machines.
• Adjust machine settings to complete more complex tasks according to specifications.
• Effectively monitor production equipment.
• Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints of drawings.
• Communicate with Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM.
• Inspect products and ensure they conform to specification and industry standards.
