Job summary

Monoflo International is seeking an Extrusion Operator II to operate and maintain plastic recycling equipment, ensuring throughput and utilization targets are met. You will perform start-up/shut-down procedures, conduct routine maintenance, and execute material sorting to maintain product quality.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and ability to follow established processes.
• Ability to operate in high temperature environments.
• Mechanical aptitude in hydraulics, pneumatics, and root cause analysis.
• Basic hand tool use required.
• OSHA forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Own shift performance, achieving targets for throughput and utilization.
• Perform the daily operator preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment functionality.
• Start up and shut down procedures on all equipment.
• Sort scrap material and remove contaminants to maintain quality.
• Maintain 5S structure and complete process documentation.
