Job summary

Mativ is seeking an extrusion line operator to efficiently run, setup, and troubleshoot the extrusion line during the 4pm-12am shift. The role requires following schedules, SOPs, and safety protocols while ensuring products meet specifications.

You will install tooling, start up equipment, run QC tests, document data, and package finished products. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and read English/metric measurements; basic math and computer skills are required.

Qualifications

Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
Read & understand the Metric & English (US Customary) measuring system.
Able to read ruler measurement to nearest
Able to convert measurements from one system to another.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Basic computer skills
Basic math skills
Read and comprehend English

Responsibilities

Set up the extrusion line according to schedule and read the schedule, BOM, and SOC.
Install tooling and select proper tooling prior to start.
Start up the extrusion machine, position controls, activate drives, and test initial product.
Make necessary adjustments and verify the product is in spec.
Package product per packaging instructions and store finished product properly.
Troubleshoot the process and perform QC tests per SOC; enter data in Data Collection.
Keep work area and tooling clean; return used tooling to stock; adhere to PPE requirements.
