Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. in Pearland, Texas is seeking a manufacturing teammate to operate extrusion equipment, assist with setup and maintenance, and help meet daily production goals.

You will document work orders, support new product introductions, and contribute to quality and efficiency while working in a clean, safety-focused environment. The role offers multiple shifts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma and one year of related experience.
• Knowledge of the operation of extruders, braiders, pullers, cutters, dies, etc.
• Individual must be self-motivated and possess good judgment to maintain quantity with quality.
• Ability to recognize problems and adjust equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and follow instructions.
• Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Assists in operating, maintaining and troubleshooting extruders, blenders, cutters, pullers, water baths, and various extrusion equipment.
2. Process various documentation, such as work orders.
3. Assists in the implementation of new products and equipment.
4. Contributes to meeting department goals and operational metrics.
5. Performs other related duties, as required.
