Job summary

Phxpkg in Indiana is seeking a hands-on operator to support high temperature plastic extrusion and slitting lines. Responsibilities include material loading, roll changeovers, and packaging finished products.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, math skills, and forklift/scissor lift certification. You will assist with reclaim equipment, rework rolls, and maintain GMP and safety compliance on a safety-sensitive shift.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist extrusion line operation and monitor raw material levels.
• Load raw materials and assist with shutdown cleanings.
• Lace up line with extruded sheet of hot melt to the winder and start new rolls.
• Package finished rolls and coordinate with warehouse for pickup.
• Operate reclaim equipment to grind or pelletize scrap.
• Ensure safety rules and GMP compliance are followed.
