Job summary

Plastic Recycling, Inc. is seeking an Extrusion Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) in Indianapolis, IN. You will operate extrusion equipment, monitor production, and ensure products meet specifications.

Responsibilities include setup, quality checks, routine maintenance, data logging, and safety compliance. The role requires basic hand tool experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in extrusion or manufacturing (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and measurements.
• Experience using basic hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines according to production schedules.
• Inspect products for quality and make adjustments to maintain specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Record production data and maintain accurate logs.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Communicate with the Transformation Manager or Supervisor regarding production status and issues.
• Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
