Job summary

Charter Next Generation in Lexington, OH is seeking a full-time Direct Labor team member to operate state-of-the-art plastic extrusion equipment and produce high-quality films. You’ll monitor production, troubleshoot issues, and participate in our training program while contributing to sustainable packaging solutions that reduce waste.

Schedule features a rotating 3–4 day cycle with a 15-day monthly workload and a B Night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am (Sun–Tue plus alternating Saturdays).

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
• Lift up to 65 pounds
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Wages from $18.00–$21.00 per hour, with $2.50 night shift differential

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastic extrusion production lines
• Set up machines according to work order specifications
• Inspect products for quality and manage scrap processes
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks
• Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Collaborate with team members during shift changeovers
