Marmon Aerospace & Defense LLC in Manchester, NH is hiring for a 2nd Shift Extrusion Operator (Mon-Fri, 4:00pm–12:00am). This role requires familiarity with extrusion processes and the ability to set up and run high-speed machinery.

You will perform machine setup, monitor quality, maintain logs, and work safely in a manufacturing environment. A 4% shift differential applies, and the facility emphasizes teamwork and precision.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of extrusion experience.

• Previous manufacturing experience required.

Responsabilités

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed).
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
• Test operation of machines periodically.
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
• Check output to spot any machine-related flaws.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Maintain activity logs.

2nd Shift Extrusion Operator (M-F 4:00pm - 12:00am)

Includes a 4% shift differential on top of base pay. Previous wire or plastics extrusion or wire and cable experience highly preferred.

Machine Operator Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Maintain activity logs

Skills/Experience

• 1+ years of extrusion experience
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
• Previous manufacturing environment required
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork and communication skills

Physical demands

• Stamina and strength, standing and or walking for extended periods, lifting materials up to 50lbs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English, including verbal and written communication and comprehension.
