Job summary

Winpak Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Extrusion Operator to join our production team on 12-hour shifts (either 8:00 am to 8:00 pm or 8:00 pm to 8:00 am). The role operates extrusion and co-extrusion machinery to deliver high-quality packaging products while supporting a safe, efficient work environment.

You will read and follow order paperwork, perform quality checks, and maintain production standards. We value teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement as we serve diverse industries with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably blown film.
• Basic math, computer and measurement reading skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Able to work a rotational shift schedule, including some weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and co-extrusion machinery safely to produce quality products.
• Perform quality checks according to sampling plans.
• Promote safety practices and collaborate with other operators.
• Read and follow order paperwork, honoring special instructions.
• Build, label, and wrap pallets to meet customer expectations.
• Prepare raw materials and monitor process changes to maintain consistency.
• Perform housekeeping and maintenance as needed to keep area clean and safe.
