Job summary

Novolex is hiring an Extrusion Operator in Jerome, Idaho. In this role, you will set up and operate extrusion lines to produce high-quality HDPE film. Essential duties include following safety procedures and completing daily production reports. You must have a high school diploma, be eligible to work in the U.S., and successfully complete a background check. Extrusion Operator | Jerome, Idaho | Now Hiring

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Available Shift: 7 am-7 pm (rotating days and nights every 63 days, 2-2-3 schedule)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow all JSA’s and safety procedures/policies
• Safely and efficiently set up and operate extrusion lines to produce high-quality HDPE film
• Operate extrusion lines in accordance with job safety analysis, standard operating procedures, quality procedures, and operator training to meet or exceed productivity requirements and minimize downtime and waste
• Ensure that proper materials are being used in accordance with procedures
• Monitor roll weights to ensure the correct gauge is maintained throughout the shift
• Assure proper packaging and labeling of film
• Complete daily production reporting

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotating shifts.
• Work overtime as required.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
