The ideal person will be a team player with a drive to succeed and a willingness to help others. We are a company that takes pride in satisfying our customers, so candidates should be prepared to support our efforts with overtime work as needed.**Essential Job Responsibilities*** Produce quality parts; inspecting and approving profiles to ensure they meet all manufacturing requirements.* Inspect the quality of materials and alert the Production Supervisor or appropriate personnel of material issues and/or failures immediately.* Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.* Inspect the quality of the machinery and report equipment failures to the Maintenance Department.* Ensure that all required shift paperwork is accurate and complete.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Required Qualifications*** Strong communication skills - written and verbal.* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.* Must be able to follow directions and work in a team environment.* Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift, which may include: bending, twisting, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.* Ability to read a work order, use a tape measure, and preferred caliper/micrometer experience.**Preferred Skills and Experience*** High school diploma or GED equivalent* Prior extrusion experience is a plus but not required.* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality at all times.* Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work based on business needs.**Company Overview**Out of our Elkhart, Indiana facility, Boyd has a fully dedicated and innovative team focused on providing highly engineered and patented total sealing system solutions to the Recreational Vehicle Industry.
