As an Extrusion Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Assisting in the implementation of new equipment as we grow as a plant/company
• Implementing key initiatives designed to give our customers their best experiences
• Developing others as you mature to a trainer and leader
• Supporting engineering problem solving projects
• Creating best practices and selling others on those practices through our employee suggestion program
• Perform the necessary preventive maintenance, initiate shop work orders for any conditions that require the maintenance department’s assistance
• Work with Engineering and R&D to resolve process problems and scale up new products
• Continuously monitor products, equipment and document in-process quality

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of extruding experience in a manufacturing setting

Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
