Position: Extrusion Line Operator
Location: Hanover, PA
Wage: $24.25
Shift: Day Shift, 7AM-7PM (rotating shift)

While reporting to the Plant Superintendent, as the Extrusion Line Operator, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient processing of work requirements for the assigned line. Your main responsibility is the operation of the extruder and printing functions while directing the rest of the line operation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set up, start, and operate extruder pressure calibration tanks, spray cooling tank, cutter, re-cutter, water chilling system, and printer.
• Select and install printing plates, check for proper alignment and registration.
• Operate to ensure proper application and curing of inks, complying with quality standards. Clean color heads, printing plates, and blankets as required.
• Observe the production of plastic tubes and make necessary equipment adjustments to maintain proper production rate and quality objectives.
• Document quality and process information as required, assist with first/last piece inspections, and provide training to team members as needed.

• You have 2 to 3 years of manufacturing experience or operation of printing equipment.
• You possess a high school diploma or GED, with basic reading, writing, arithmetic skills, and effective communication skills.
• You have a high level of mechanical aptitude.
• You are flexible to rotate shifts and work overtime as required, with manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• You can lift up to 50 pounds.
