Job summary

Amcor in Montgomery, Alabama is seeking a Machine Operator (extrusion/conversion) to operate and maintain extrusion equipment, set up lines, and monitor production for safety and quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of experience in liners, good reading/writing in English, and the ability to work overtime, holidays and night shifts. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and wear PPE.

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain extrusion machines per procedures.
• Set up and monitor machines, perform line changes with precision.
• Complete safety and quality paperwork regularly.
• Notify maintenance of equipment issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and supply materials daily.
• Follow plant emergency procedures and use E-stops correctly.
• Work overtime including nights and weekends as needed.
