Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Extrusion Machine Operator to operate and monitor extrusion equipment in a high-noise, 24/7 production environment. You will follow safety and quality standards while collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of extrusion experience or equivalent manufacturing experience. Fluency in English and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and shift rotations are required.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and specifications to verify availability of equipment, personnel, supplies, and materials.
• Assist with equipment set-up under supervisor guidance and establish film dimensions and thickness.
• Inspect finished film and take corrective action for substandard products.
• Train new operators on procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
