Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed in Claremont, NC, is seeking a production extrusion operator to set up, start up, run, and monitor extrusion lines day or night on a 12‑hour 2‑2‑3 shift.
You will perform quality checks, monitor materials, troubleshoot process issues, and support maintenance while ensuring safety and efficiency.
United States, North Carolina, CLAREMONT
Operates and monitors automated vinyl and accessory extruders. Extruders are fed with compound while panels and accessories are produced using the latest technology in machinery. Tooling and downstream equipment are used to produce a high quality finished product.
Shift: 12hr shift on a 2-2-3 schedule (3 days one week, 4 days the next week)
Shift Hours: Day Shift (8a-8p) or Night shift (8p-8a)
Pay: $25.81/hr. paid weekly
Set up, operate, and monitor production extrusion machinery. Start-up extrusion lines and makes all required adjustments to stabilize process in order to minimize scrap and maximize efficiency. Re-programmable microprocessor controls are used and monitored to achieve desired product quality.
