Job summary

Prime Conduit, Inc. is seeking an Extrusion Machine Mechanic to oversee mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of extrusion equipment at the Woodland plant.

The role requires 480V electrical experience, independence in repairs, and strict adherence to lockout/tagout and safety standards. Compensation starts at an hourly rate with progression: starting at $35.44/hr, then $36.75/hr after 6 weeks, and $40.71/hr after journeyman qualification and training completion.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum proven mechanic and electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Proficient in diagnosing mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks with supervisor guidance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and lubrication on production machinery.
• Build and install new equipment and tooling for plant improvements.
• Repair broken equipment and assist production with mechanical/electrical problems.
• Maintain safety, clean work area, and document maintenance records.
