Sealed Air Corporation in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Extrusion Machine Operator to run an extrusion line safely and efficiently. The role focuses on producing quality film per SOC and production specs on a 12-hour, afternoon rotating shift.

Responsibilities include starting up and shutting down lines, adjusting run conditions via computer, following SOPs, and maintaining accurate production documentation.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety guidelines.
• High School diploma or equivalency.
• 2-3 years manufacturing equipment operation experience (preferred).
• Strong reading, writing and math skills.
• Must read English and correctly identify numbers.
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to complete production documentation (Excel, Word).
• Overtime may be required.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to produce finished goods to production specifications.
• Safely STOP equipment during normal conditions and emergencies.
• Set Machine up to SOC using the appropriate conditions.
• Use a computer system to set run conditions and adjust as necessary within SOC.
• Perform Line start up and Line shut down.
• Understand and safely operate extruders.
• Follow SOPs to safely and efficiently operate the line.
• Use production reporting systems to fulfill job functions.
• Safely operate lab equipment.
• Operate and adjust quality lab equipment to test film samples.
