Job summary

Amcor in Dalton, GA is seeking an extrusion operator to run and adjust equipment for packaging film production. You will feed and monitor film through rollers, ensure correct width, gauge, length and tension, and perform quality checks with standard measurement tools.

You will complete production paperwork and assist with final packaging and palletizing. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience; forklift certification may be required

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent training plus minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• May require certification to operate forklift trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operates extrusion equipment to produce plastic film rolls to specification.
• Sets up and adjusts equipment, monitors width, gauge, tension, and weight.
• Inspects finished product and completes production paperwork and labels.
• Operates lifting equipment and assists with packaging and shipping tasks.
