Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking an Extrusion Doffer – Fill Lines & Warp Lines (M2149) in Hillsville, Virginia. This 12-hour shift position supports line setup, monitors extrusion operations, and inspects yarn quality while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

You will perform doffing, operate powered industrial trucks, and assist material coordinators. The job requires reading/writing ability and basic data entry skills; prior PIT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Mandatory ability to read and write as indicated on the job application.
• Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck in a production environment is preferred.
• Basic computer skills to enter data into the computer system.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and starting the line.
• Observe operation of machine and equipment to ensure continuous flow and quality.
• Visually examine extruded products and weigh yarn/waste.
• Transport fill yarn/waste to storage areas and maintain clean work area.
• Operate powered industrial trucks and follow safety procedures.
• Perform wrap and doff duties on fill yarn lines and tricots.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance throughout the shift.
