Job summary

Mohawk Industries in Hillsville, VA seeks an Extrusion Doffer to set up and operate fill and warp lines, manage yarn handling, and maintain inventory records. The role includes patrolling lines for quality, loading and unloading yarn, and supporting line starts under supervision.

You will ensure safe operation, follow SOPs, and perform related duties as assigned by management. A PIT license and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write as indicated on job application.
• Preferred experience operating a powered industrial truck in a production environment.
• Basic computer skills to enter data into computer system.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion fill lines and warp lines per SOPs.
• Doff fill yarn packages, weigh yarn, and create inventory tickets.
• Doff tricots, transport tricots with powered equipment, and create inventory tickets.
• Patrol lines for quality issues and assist in starting lines.
• Perform general housekeeping and safety tasks; follow management guidance.
