Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking an Extrusion Blow Molding Process Operator to join our Salt Lake City area facility. You’ll own production lines, dial in parameters, initiate start-ups, and execute changeovers to meet throughput and quality targets.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in manufacturing with solid troubleshooting, and the ability to read procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with solid troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Comfort reading and following written procedures and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust blow molding and related equipment to hit production goals and meet specifications.
• Perform machine changeovers, start-ups, and basic troubleshooting to sustain uptime.
• Review performance with the previous shift and keep lines running efficiently.
• Complete routine adjustments and preventive maintenance tasks while escalating issues promptly.
• Record machine adjustments, process changes, and any quality concerns.

From there, you’ll take ownership of your production lines—dialing in parameters, initiating start-ups, and executing changeovers to meet both throughput and quality targets.
