Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Extrusion Operator to visually inspect and package extruded products on a 2-2-3 schedule. You will ensure consistency, maintain paperwork, and perform on-line quality checks to meet defined standards.

The role requires reading a tape measure to the 16th of an inch, basic math, and the ability to stand for long periods. No experience is required, with possible extrusion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.
• Related machine operation experience preferred.
• Stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts; lift and bend.
• Basic Math skills and ability to read English.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• No experience required; extrusion experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product counts, packing patterns, and labels are correct; maintain paperwork.

Job Description

Base Pay: $16 per hour + $2.50 Shift Differential

2-2-3 Work Schedule

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Extrusion Operators visually inspects extruded product for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards.

• Associate ensures product consistency and standards including but not limited to proper counts, packing patterns, and labels
• Associate maintains paperwork as required
• Performs online quality inspections
• Operates packaging equipment

• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check
• No experience required. Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferred
