Job summary

CMI (Crane Materials International) in Ball Ground, GA is hiring for an Extrusion Assistant Operator on the 2nd shift. You will support the extrusion line, perform material inspections, and help maintain quality and production flow.

This role requires basic math and documentation skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of material handling or manufacturing preferred.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to stand, lift and perform physical duties up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and package production materials to meet quality standards.
• Conduct visual and measured inspections using calipers and related tools.
• Complete QC checks, labeling, and production paperwork accurately.
• Operate production line and record process parameters during shift.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with die changes.
