Job summary

A packaging industry leader in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is seeking an individual for a manufacturing role with a pay rate of $25.14/hour. Responsibilities include assisting in the operation of coating or blowing film lines, ensuring safety, and maintaining supply and equipment. Candidates must possess good communication and organizational skills and be physically capable of the demands of the job. Previous experience in manufacturing is a plus but not required.

COMPENSATION:

$25.14/hour
  • Assist operators will aid inall aspects of operation of Coater or Blown Film lines including change-overs, machine start-up, running and shut-down.
  • Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety.
  • While also knowing and understanding the role in product safety.
  • When qualified will operate Coater or Blown Film s when an operator is absent, or on vacation.
  • Order and maintain resin boxes to sustain a proper steady supply of resin for Coater or Blown Film machines
  • Packaging mill rolls weigh and haul scrap
  • Miscellaneous housekeeping duties
  • Comply with all 5S and CI initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work)
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs
  • Willing and able to stand and walk for an 8/12 hour shift
  • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting
  • Frequent use of wrist and hands
  • Frequent stepping up and down from platforms
