Job summary

TE Wire & Cable LLC, part of Marmon Holdings and Berkshire Hathaway, seeks an extruder operator in Saddle Brook, NJ. You will set up, maintain and operate extrusion equipment, ensuring efficient, safe production and quality. Requires 2–3 years in wire/PVC/plastic extrusion and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Shift options: 2nd (3:30PM–12:00AM) or 3rd (11:30PM–8:00AM); base wage $19.00/hr with potential differential. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, life and more.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience with wire, PVC and/or plastic extrusion.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed, temperature).
• Load extruder hopper with plastic granules and color concentrate.
• Load reels of wire into payoff stand and guide through equipment.
• Monitor output and fix issues; ensure safe production.
