Job summary

TE Wire & Cable LLC in Saddle Brook, NJ is seeking an Extruder Operator to set up, maintain, and operate extrusion machinery, ensuring smooth, safe production. You will work on 2nd and 3rd shifts with a base pay of $19.00 per hour plus shift differential. On-the-job training is provided and teamwork is essential.

Scanning job duties include reading blueprints, adjusting settings, and maintaining quality output while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
• Experience in machine operation with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed, temperature).
• Load hopper with plastic granules and color concentrate per job specs.
• Load reels of wire into payoff stand and thread through the line.
• Operate printing section when required and perform basic maintenance.
• Ensure output quality and maintain a safe working environment.
