Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read/write/understand English.
• Mechanical aptitude; able to read setup sheets and use calipers, micrometers, lasers and gauges.

Aufgaben

• Make complete line setups on jobs from charts and specifications.
• Operate line at proper speeds to ensure a quality product and production rates.
• Perform inspections of product using visual checks, micrometers and calipers.
• Perform repairs to equipment and assist maintenance when major repairs are required.
• Complete records with proper part number, job number and quantity per pallet or reel; insert weights on Production Tickets.
• Package product according to instructions, including cartons and spools.
• Mix materials, load hoppers and grind scrap as required by operations.
• Assemble packaging materials as required by Job Sheet.
• Keep extrusion line and surrounding area clean and orderly.
• Run straight-out core tube, mandrel, tubing; learn crosshead operation.
• Perform work of an equal or lower classification as required.
