Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation – Parflex Division is seeking an Extrusion Machine Operator for its Manitowoc, WI facility. The role focuses on setting up and running thermo-plastic extruders, ensuring tight tolerances, and maintaining data records for quality control.

The position requires basic manufacturing experience, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities. Training is provided, with a 3rd shift schedule and a $2/hour premium during training, plus quarterly bonuses and

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED required.
Machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office software and keyboarding is beneficial.
Ability to operate forklift and manual/electric jack; training provided.
Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot for process and product improvement.
Good English verbal communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

Sets up and operates thermo-plastic extruders and auxiliary equipment per engineering specs; makes corrections when needed.
Uses precision measuring instruments and records data to ensure quality standards.
Changes tooling as required to maintain correct dimensions; monitors process and reports issues.
Handles materials for the process and maintains documentation.
Participates in team projects and other duties as assigned.
