Sets up, runs, and monitors 1 " extrusion equipment used for the manufacture of fiber optic cable by performing the following job responsibilities.

Significant Responsibilities:

1. Performs specific job responsibilities:
   • Reads the set-up sheet and utilizes the file name to determine the product to be manufactured, machine adjustments, and material requirements.
   • Sets up, runs, and continuously monitors the 1 " extrusion line for all products.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Working Conditions:

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. This job requires a sighted individual (i.e., vision corrected to 20/20) for significant reading and computer usage. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision. Additional Compensation Information

The posted pay range reflects the established base salary or hourly wage range for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs. New hires are typically hired below the midpoint of the range. Eligible positions may receive applicable shift differentials, skill premiums, or other forms of additional compensation.

The regular schedule for this position is 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday with some schedule flexibility required; overtime is also available.
