Job summary

University of California, Davis is seeking a financial analyst, account manager and compliance officer to join a clustered accounting team. You will provide intramural and extramural budget planning and analysis for a defined set of faculty and staff, ensuring accurate budget construction and grant management.

You will work with Principal Investigators to understand new proposals, maintain all grants records, reconcile ledgers, and prepare for year-end close, while supporting special reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training.
• Experience in financial analysis, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Experience managing and monitoring multiple accounts and cost recovery.
• Experience in budget preparation, analysis and forecasting for complex budgets.
• Strong problem solving and numerical analysis of fiscal issues.
• Knowledge of GAAP, cost allocation, and grant budgeting regulations.
