Job summary

Westrock Coffee Company is hiring an experienced Extract Operator for the second shift to ensure consistent extraction production and adherence to SOPs. You will log data, monitor processes, and support QA and packaging teams to maintain product quality.

The role requires physical capability to lift 50+ lbs, work in hot and cold environments, and participate in safety meetings while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a production-related role.
• General knowledge of extraction technology and equipment.
• Familiarity with extract processing techniques and workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for logging data and operating control systems.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all entry-level extract operations and equipment handling.
• Responsible for extract production in accordance with SOPs and within defined processing specifications.
• Logs and reports processing data and quality results.
• Monitors extraction processes and escalates issues to supervisors or managers.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicates with the extraction team and other departments (QA, Packaging, Warehouse, Maintenance).
• Participates in required meetings (Safety Breakouts, Quarterly Meetings, Daily Shift Meetings).
• Routinely able to lift 50+ lbs and work in hot, cold, loud, and wet conditions.
