Job summary

S&D Coffee in Conway, AR is seeking an experienced Machine Operator I – Extracts 2nd to join the Extraction Team. You will operate extract processing and filtration, ensure safe, compliant production, and help maintain product integrity through proper data logging and quality checks.

The role requires at least 1 year in production, the ability to lift 50+ lbs, and flexibility to work shifts in loud, hot or cold environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of production-related experience preferred (batching, kitchen, or food processing).
• General knowledge of extraction technology and equipment.
• Familiarity with extract processing techniques and workflows.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for logging data and operating control systems.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all entry-level extract operations and equipment handling.
• Responsible for extract production in accordance with SOPs and within defined processing specifications.
• Reports safety hazards, recommends corrective actions, and supports completion of action items.
• Routinely uses PPE in a consistent and compliant manner.
• Samples extract batches for quality control and verification purposes.
• Accurately logs and reports processing data and quality results.
• Monitors extraction processes and escalates issues when needed.
• Maintains knowledge of all extract products and specifications.
• Communicates with extraction team and other departments (QA, Packaging, Warehouse, Maintenance).
• Participates in Safety Breakouts, Quarterly Meetings, and Daily Shift Meetings.
