Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment safely and efficiently to hit production/waste goals.
• Completes all required documents and checklists; reports malfunctions.
• Interprets work orders to ensure correct materials and specifications.
• Troubleshoots and resolves basic-to-moderate operation issues.
• Ensures coffee has adequate gas-off time.
• Completes change-over sheet and coordinates supplies for packaging line.
• Uses computer to access coffee bin.
• Enters item information to print correct labels.
• Programs packaging machine per spec sheet.
• Adjusts packaging equipment for correct case size.
• Adjusts coffee per package without stopping production.
• Manages packaging: closes boxes, labels, and runs tape.
• Performs visual, weight, and seal inspections.
• Identifies and segregates nonconforming goods.
• Moves boxes to pallets and stacks them.
• Completes pallet tickets with item number, date, and count.
• Records downtime with explanation.
• Submits maintenance work requests when needed.
• Cleans machines and area to prevent dust.
• Checks packaging machines and completes changeover sheet.
• Collects and submits samples for QA purposes.
• Follows safety protocols and PPE; keeps area clean and organized.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
